Patch work Quilting
It gives you joy adventure untold
By placing color's bright and bold
Imagination you can use
Gathering fabric as you choose
Just think of the lovely quilt you will make
To the drawing board it will take
You, as you cut and cut with all your might
All shapes and sizes dark and light
Then oh what fun you see them come
Together, the pattern all in one
You quilt it into a rug or a frame
As you see fit while on it your name
You’ve done it!! How proud you will be
Soon you’ll plan another, you will see
Boredom will fix it is so true
As the sewing machine waits for you.
